It is one of my greatest wishes to see Erykah Badu in concert.  The opportunity to see her on my trip of a lifetime to London has emerged, and I am asking for your help.

In 1996, I didn’t go to the Erykah Badu concert @ the Memorial because a boy that I cared for and respected said it wasn’t going to be good.  In an effort to impress him, I did not go.  That boy ended up hurting me and changing my life forever.  This missed opportunity has forever been embedded in my mind as a symbol of my naivety and pain from that incident.  I have regretted it ever since, and missed multiple other opportunities to see her.  In one of the more recent opportunities, I asked my significant other at the time if I could go with friends because I could not afford to send us both, and he wasn’t as avid a fan as I.  He did not allow me to go.  

I feel that God continues to affirm that I am making good decisions by allowing the stars to align in my favor.  Erykah Badu is going to be in London the day after I end classes at The Globe Theater.  Because I have already spent $1300 on my plane ticket to London, I need sponsors to go see her and make a lifelong dream to see Erykah Badu in concert come true.  Thank you for listening.
